It's been my experience that providing a space which is without interruptions and is absent from my having an agenda, allows those I work with to move from feeling like a tsunami of problems is facing them to see what they are experiencing with more clarity and with a sense of grounding. While we are working together you will be in a judgement-free space. I see it as my responsibility to maintain my own grounding, my own sense of well-being and neutrality. During our conversations you will benefit from your own mind being able to settle, to gain some perspective, and ideally, you'll see things with a fresh set of eyes.
For my part, deep listening is forefront. I listen for opportunities to point my clients in the direction of unseen avenues to step into a new freedom and to regain their grounding in their innate resilience. To become "untangled" from our own thinking and perceptions gives us a sense of clarity, self-assuredness and confidence to be at ease during uncertain situations and events.
One thing that does not happen during a coaching session with me; I don't set out to offer any number of "self-improvement" techniques. Instead, we have a conversation to explore your own innate resources, your innate wisdom, and make use of your own capacity for transformative insights.
In short, I hope to sow the seeds that might bring about a change of heart for my clients. This brings about meaningful, lasting and sustainable change.
